Only friendly conversation amongst electronic music lovers...don't hate! Let's get this forum movin'...so,what is up with the rgv and trance and everyone into trance music. This area (from what I've seen flyer and trend wise) gets many a trance act. From what I hear, not many supported the DnB cause, what's up with that?It was a change from the same old scene. Is it because that's what you listened to back in the day and you've seen them live 50 times and can't get enough?Or those are the easiest/latest tracks to find and plug into your cdj? Let me know...I'm not hating on trance or fans of it, I just wanna know why it's so popular in the area and why other electronic acts aren't as successful. Peace  | ||

| Registered Member #1 Joined: Wed May 24 2006, 12:02PMLocation: McAllen, TX Posts: 182 | okay well that was a lot of slang but sifting it through my filter it seems you're asking why trance is more popular than dnb or any other lesser-known genres. well the people in the valley are nothing if not traditionalists. most people are pretty flaky, and it's much easier to pretend you like something that is spoon fed to you than to actually take time to explore for yourself. that being said, I love trance above all other genres because of its flowing, high energy sound that just pulls you in. but of course I'm open to ANYTHING that just makes you want to move! glad to finally have some discussion going!! -SelArom | ||
