Do not hook to your computer unless you have up to date anti virus software!!! They contain at least two, one may be auto detected the other needs a manual scan of the device. you can contact fisher price/ mattel 888-892-6123

I had the same issue. Mine was preloaded with W32.SillyFD-AU (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-071111-0646-99) and another one that was cleaned up later. I called and reported it to Fisher Price. They claimed to NOT know about the problem and I gave them all the relevant information and encouraged them to escalate this issue and to put out an advisory before more people get burned. As the original writter suggests make sure you have a good virus scanner installed before plugging this camera in and call Fisher Price if you experience this issue so that they will start taking this problem seriously. I formated the camera (it took two attempts) and then reinitialized it and now it is working virus free. Good luck.
